Holiday Highlight…
The very last of our Christmas shows was December 19th, close to home in Beacon, NY. Joziah was joined onstage late in the show with youngest daughter Ali, who shined in a performance of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”. Now we know why they call it The Towne Crier … not a dry eye in the house. Also wowing the crowd (and almost upstaging dad) was guitarist-in-training Ben McEwen, Sharkey’s son who joined us in a smokin’ version of “I wish It Was Christmas”. Thanks to everyone for making our holidays merry and bright! Happy New Year 2016!

Replicating the music of The Band is a tall order. But interpreting the music of The Band is an art. That is what The Weight has been doing since forming a few years ago after the passing of Levon Helm. Oft compared to The Band since its inception (Garth Hudson being one if its earliest fans), The Slambovian Circus of Dreams will appear as special guests with The Weight at Tarrytown Music Hall, Friday November 20th. “Joziah is an awesome songwriter.” – Garth Hudson, The Band
THE WEIGHT features:
Jim Weider and Randy Ciarlante from The Band
Brian Mitchell and Byron Isaacs of the Levon Helm Band
Marty Grebb – worked with Rick Danko and Richard Manuel of The Band
