The Wizard of Oz film turns 75 this month. To mark the occasion we put together a little tribute to honor this work we so love – and one that has obviously informed Slambovian culture.
As the summer draws to a close, we wanted to make sure we shared some of our favorite shots from Falcon Ridge! (Click on a thumbnail to view full size.)
Hey New Jersey! We head to the Midwest this week for a quick tour. Thursday we hit The Ark, a beloved Ann Arbor venue that has been a calendar staple for many years. On Friday we return to Chicago for the first time in a few years – this time playing the Old Town School of Folk Music. We have heard wonderful things about this venue and are very much looking forward to playing there. We wrap the tour up on Saturday with a trip to Green Lake, Wisconsin – The Thrasher Opera House. We would once again like to thank everyone who made our UK tour such a joy, especially Ian and Sue (2nd and 3rd from left) who took care of us for three days in the lovely British countryside. On the far right is the legendary Ron – our driver since the beginning of our UK odyssey, whose stories helped inspire the writing of “Very Happy Now.” Here we are at the beautiful Shelwick Court, near Hereford.
Footage from the Wath Festival of “Flapjacks from the Sky.” Wath was the second appearance in our 7-gig U.K. Tour. Rest day tomorrow followed by gigs in King’s Heath, Wingham, Hertford, and London. Thanks to all our U.K. fans – it’s great seeing you all again!

It has been almost two years since we were last in the U.K., but that will change this Friday as we touch down at Heathrow for a week-long tour of England. Starting in Broughton-in-Furness on Saturday, May 3 and ending up in London on May 11 – with five shows/festivals in between – this trip promises to be a great opportunity to reconnect with our wonderful UK fan base.
